(BSP), a boutique healthcare and pharmaceutical industry consulting firm, is seeking a “Project Coordinator”– a support position that requires diligence and efficiency. The Project Coordinator must provide clear, timely written and verbal communications. The Project Coordinator will report to various teams and the company leadership. BSP consulting engagements could at times run in parallel; the position therefore requires the ability to support simultaneous projects and a relentless eye for accuracy. The Project Coordinator will be eligible to advance to a Junior Consultant position after a minimum of one (1) year, based on performance and review. Boston Strategic Partners, Inc. specializes in business and clinical strategy, health economics and outcomes research, and medical/technical communications.

What You Will Do: Coordinate Primary Market Research

• Liaise between BSP professionals, recruiting partners, and recruits (interviewees) for market research engagements: e-calendar management for scheduling of interviews, issuing reminders over email/phone, emailing pre-wire/pre-read materials, monitoring quotas, assembling honorarium payment lists, following up on or re-directing questions from respondents; secretarial, CRM, events planning, or recruiting experience a plus
• Transcribe and/or summarize market research interviews accurately, capturing medical and/or business terminology

What You Will Do: Support Analyses and Presentations (Deliverables)

• Assemble supporting data (e.g., from Excel) and create diagrams within PowerPoint to communicate clear, complete narratives of findings and downstream recommendations
• Assist in QA/proofreading of internal documents, client deliverables, and public-facing materials (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PDF, online surveys, email templates, hardcopy correspondence)
• Conduct secondary research including competitive assessment/landscaping, data aggregation/grouping, summarization and depiction of findings in PowerPoint and Word; experience with PubMed, NIH, LexisNexis, EBSCO, SEC filings/annual reports, syndicated reports, and insurance claims strongly preferred
• Take notes at client meetings in an organized and complete manner

What is Required of You:

• Candidate must be reliable, on-time, courteous, trustworthy, and highly professional in manner and appearance
• Candidate must possess background experience or demonstrate an ability to work well in a non-co-located environment (i.e., you will primarily be working from home with team members located in different cities); travel as necessary (10% of the time or less) w/in the Chicago area or other sites as needed
• Candidates residing in the Chicago and surrounding areas are a definite plus
